Is leaving us for a year..............................


Andrew and I sure do LOVE Lyns! She has been such a wonderful friend to us as a couple, and an amazing best friend to me. She is a woman of the Lord and I have loved watching the Lord grow her over these crazy years! We could not be more excited for her and Martins' engagement! We are incredibly sad to see her move to Denmark, but are looking forward to July when this sweet couple returns to get married! We are praying for you Lynsey and Martin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We love you and will miss you this next year!

The 4th of July!!!

We took a trip to our lake house for The 4th of July! We had such a good time. Jill & Chad, Joanne, Jere & Landon, Ricky, my dad, and Andrew's parents came. We cooked out, fished, swam and took the party boat out on the water. It was a time to relax and be with family! What a great way to celebrate the 4th!

The Mowhak is rockin' huh?!

We had over 300 sparklers to get rid of. I bought them for my wedding a year ago and was turned down by the reception site to put them to use. SOO we saved them and brought them out for the 4th! I can not believe we went through so many! I think Jill, Amanda and I had the most fun with them!

All in all it was a great holiday! We love being with family and who can resist the lake?! ;)

Camp Collide 2008

I started out the summer with a bang! I rode in a car with 4 other wonderful leaders for 16 hours to get to Laguna Beach, Florida! We met 300 amazing students from our youth group to enjoy a week of camp on the beach! We had the opportunity to watch so many students have a collison with Jesus! The Lord is so good. The picture below is from Wednesday night at camp when we worshiped together on the beach! I was also thrilled that my little brother got to experince camp with me this year! He learned so much and fit right in with everyone! I love my little bubba.... Not so little anymore! ;)

This picture is a little scary.... but was from Thrift Store Prom night! The students totally enjoyed it and we were able to boogie it up on the beach in our crazy outfits!

This year Andrew and I had the opportunity of teaching 11th grade. I could not have been more impressed by the group of girls I was placed with. They have taught us so much and we love each of them dearly! They will always be my girls.. even when they move to be seniors!

Just like Thrift Store Prom Night, we also had Cereal Hero night! We were so excited to get all dressed up this night... but mother nature brought us a MASSIVE beach storm. We still made the most of our costumes by taking pictures outside our rooms!

Last but not least... this is our core group of 11th graders! We love these guys, they are such a fun bunch!

We are blogging!

Yes... we are finally blogging! Since the new baby is getting closer to his due date, we wanted to create a page that all of our family and friends could look at! Below are the most recent pictures of our little guy!

Our sweet boy is due Nov. 19th and his name is........... Wyatt Jeremiah! In this picture he was exactly 5 months old! So cute already! ;)

Many people have also wanted to see pictures of my growing belly. This picture was taken at the very early stages. I was 12 weeks along. I will soon add a new picture since I am now starting to look like a pregnant person! We hope this blog will allow us to keep in touch with some of our sweetest friends that do not live close by!
